“The National Budget –
Implications for the Energy Sector.”

The Energy Chamber of Trinidad and Tobago is pleased to partner with PwC for the webinar, “The National Budget – Implications for the Energy Sector.”

Join us for a focused discussion on the 2027 National Budget and its fiscal implications for Trinidad and Tobago’s energy sector. The webinar will examine key measures affecting petroleum companies and energy service providers, including the increase in the Unemployment Levy, changes to withholding tax rules and rates, transfer pricing developments, limitations on tax loss relief, and VAT reforms. We will consider what these changes mean for tax costs, cash flow, investment decisions, and doing business in the energy sector.

Suresh Cassie, Partner, Tax and Legal Services, PwC Trinidad and Tobago will facilitate this members-only session.  Suresh brings 18 years of professional experience, with a robust background in financial accounting and a deep understanding of taxation laws in Trinidad and Tobago. Specializing in petroleum taxation, Suresh has supported clients across the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors.
