Today marks the 23rd anniversary of the September 11th attacks, a day that forever altered our nation. Our country lost family members, friends, loved ones, and coworkers. More than twenty years later, the impact of this day is still deeply felt within our hearts and our communities.
………………….
I encourage every person reading this to pause today for a moment of silence to reflect on the innocent lives lost and the enduring courage of the first responders who rushed to the scene in the wake of unimaginable tragedy and destruction.
In the days following the terrorist attacks on our nation, Americans came together with an indomitable spirit of unity and resilience. As we remember one of the darkest moments in our history and honor the brave heroes who served so selflessly that day, let us carry forward that same spirit by embracing the enduring patriotism that binds us together as one nation.
May God bless you, and may God bless America.

Governor of Texas
